Description Todd 2011-04-14 20:41:32 UTC
Version: 4.6 (using KDE 4.6.2)
OS: Linux

Currently when you try to mount an encrypted partition, you get a dialog to enter a password. This dialog has a checkbox to remember the password (by storing it kwallet). However, this check box is automatically clicked even after you unclick it. This means that every time you want to mount the partition you must uncheck the box. It would be nice if the check box remembers its state, so if you uncheck it once it remains unchecked the next time try to mount.

Reproducible: Always

Hello Todd, thanks for your report. It is almost 7 years old by now. How does the remember password checkbox on the dialog behaves nowadays? Is it still an issue?

I'm not sure the code for this is in KIO? Solid, maybe? Moving.
