Actual Results: Executable: kdeinit4 PID: 10058 Signal: Segmentation fault (11) Expected Results: Proceed with configuration for broadband service provider I think some work needs to be done to improve the 'robustness' of Network Manager. It frequently fails with broadband connections I have had problems on both Ubuntu and Suse Linux installations.
You are probably using an old Plasma NM version. Can you send me the output of command below? rpm -qi plasmoid-networkmanagement As far as I know OpenSuse 11.4 ships with plasmoid-networkmanagement-0.9.svn1192577-7.2, which does not include the fixes for this bug.
Closing since OpenSuse 11.4 is using outdated package. This bug has already been fixed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 255855 ***
These packages have a more up to date snapshot (from March 6th): https://build.opensuse.org/package/binaries?package=NetworkManager-kde4&project=home%3ACyberCastle&repository=openSUSE_11.4 They are not official updates yet, I have never tested them, but they include the fix for this bug.
