Version: unspecified OS: Linux (This is a forward of <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=622310>) Here are various corrections for Canadian entries in Cities.dat. I basically wrote a small script that correlated all entries with the Canadian Geographical Names Data Base, flagging those that did not correspond to any known geographical name within a certain radius of their coordinates. I then brought the appropriate corrections, with the help of virtual and paper maps. Reproducible: Didn't try

There is no official location named River Ottawa; while the city of Ottawa sits on the river of the same name, that river is several hundred kilometers long and does not warrant an arbitrary entry." Thanks for all the patches. I've applied all of them. It will take a while for all the logs to appear here, I guess. I did correct the last patch since I found a Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory very very close to the coordinates in the original Cities.dat
