Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux like many users, i'm used to pressing Ctrl+S to save objects that i'm editing in a GUI editor that is designed specifically for those objects. this applies equally to text files, office documents, graphics, and emails. even the Gmail web interface responds to Ctrl+S as expected. but the Kmail composer does not, despite having an obvious save function, "Save as Draft". of course, i can create a custom shortcut for this. but if i do, it becomes apparent why this shortcut is not included by default: bug #270800 (that is, "Save as Draft" is not just "save" but also "close"). please fix that bug and add this shortcut as a default. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. compose a message. 2. press Ctrl+S. Actual Results: * by default, nothing happens. * if Ctrl+S is mapped to "Save as Draft", the message is saved and closed. Expected Results: the message is saved and remains open.
