- What I was doing when the application crashed:

ktorrent dL at  2.1MB\s
adding torrents  from Quick Access  folder downloads.
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Using Kubuntu 10.10 upgaded to KDE 4.6.2, with original options after install,  composite effects every thing was sluggish windows opend with problems in displaying contents also the Kmenu had the same problem and slow, KDE locked and then turned off desktop effects after restating kde or machine. With not many efects running system seems  more stable no windows or menu problem but then this crash happend the efects in use were blur, taskbar thumbnails , transluceny,  coverswitch,  when kde went down ktorrent was still open and working, stopped the torrents quited ktorrent and powered off machine restarted and this crash bug report appeard after the error msg display.

i cant tell if this is the same bug of any other report .
