Version: git-latest (using KDE 4.6.2) OS: Linux Since I am used to from Kopete to always have a filter bar present and using it regularily in Dolphin, I want to have it opened in the telepathy contact list all the time. But once I close the contact list, the filter bar gets closed as well. Leave the filter bar opened until I close it myself. Reproducible: Always

We could add a "pin" button to keep the bar visible because many people ( including me ) don't need that bar always.

Adding a button to pin/unpin the filter bar to the contact list. The filter bar can get pinned to the contact list by clicking on the added button. This latter will have a different icon according to the state of the filter bar (pinned or unpinned) and will automatically get unpinned if the filter bar gets closed.
