Version:           2.0.2 (using KDE 4.4.5) 
OS:                Linux

everytime i try to open an .iso file to burn, k3b crash without any error.
after looking more into the files i found out the file have no user read permission.

after chmod the files giving read permission, it works ok.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
chmod -r some-file.iso
then tell k3b to open it.

Actual Results:  
crash

Expected Results:  
an error explaining the issue

Reproducible should be: Always

Can you please describe what you mean with "try to open an .iso file to burn" ?

Is it
   k3b moo.iso
on the command line? Or using the menus?

Also can you please attach the backtrace of the crash?
