Description Richard Hartmann 2011-04-06 12:24:55 UTC
Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

With Konsole in KDE 3, proper table layouts would be displayed. With current Konsole, I get this:

From an Infortrend SAN's telnet interface. As I said, the unknown characters used to be proper table layout characters.

I don't even know how to begin debugging this, but I would be more than happy to try anything with those machines and give feedback if anyone needs more information.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Connect to any Infortrend SAN via telnet, select "Terminal(VT100 Mode)" mode.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.38-2-686
Compiler: gcc

Sorry, I meant "PC Graphic(ANSI Mode)" of course.

VT100 uses lxmq for "table" formatting which obviously displays just fine.
Comment 2 Jekyll Wu 2012-02-04 14:07:20 UTC
To be honest, I have no idea where the thing goes wrong based upon existing information :(

"Connect to any Infortrend SAN", this is a big obstacle for reproducing and investigating.
Comment 3 Jekyll Wu 2012-02-25 17:41:33 UTC
The awkward thing is I even have no clear idea what more information could be helpful.

Is there any such server accessible for trial?
Comment 4 Richard Hartmann 2012-02-25 19:28:01 UTC
I can't give you access to ours, but I can run tcpdump to see what's sent over wire. That would help, wouldn't it?
Comment 5 Jekyll Wu 2012-02-25 19:39:01 UTC
probably would be more helpful than existing information.
