Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.6.1) OS: Linux With Konsole in KDE 3, proper table layouts would be displayed. With current Konsole, I get this: Wed Apr 6 12:14:03 2011 S24F-R1840-4 - foo Cache Status: 24% Dirty CBM: ++++ < Main Menu > Ŀ Quick installation view and edit Logical drives view and edit logical Volumes view and edit Host luns view and edit Drives view and edit channelS view and edit Configuration parameters view and edit Peripheral devices system Functions view system Information view and edit Event logs From an Infortrend SAN's telnet interface. As I said, the unknown characters used to be proper table layout characters. I don't even know how to begin debugging this, but I would be more than happy to try anything with those machines and give feedback if anyone needs more information. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Connect to any Infortrend SAN via telnet, select "Terminal(VT100 Mode)" mode. OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.38-2-686 Compiler: gcc
Sorry, I meant "PC Graphic(ANSI Mode)" of course. VT100 uses lxmq for "table" formatting which obviously displays just fine.
To be honest, I have no idea where the thing goes wrong based upon existing information :( "Connect to any Infortrend SAN", this is a big obstacle for reproducing and investigating.
The awkward thing is I even have no clear idea what more information could be helpful. Is there any such server accessible for trial?
I can't give you access to ours, but I can run tcpdump to see what's sent over wire. That would help, wouldn't it?
probably would be more helpful than existing information.
