Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

My kmail google apps using imap connections was working yesterday. I made no changes and installed no update on my side.
Suddenly stops working following error message:
error while searching.
Searching the folder INBOX failed. The server returned could not parse command.
I attach a png as a screenshot.
I log on to google apps and they want me to agree to new terms so you know they changed something. mutt also stopped working!
It is probably google's fault. But they might be exploiting some unimplemented part of the standard, so I file this bug to find out.

Somebody should tell google that you do not implement major changes to a communications system WHILE MERCURY IS RETROGRADE!!!!!!

Oh don't bother. Everyone knows that astrology is bunk.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to read imap mail from google apps.

Actual Results:
error message:
error while searching.
Searching the folder INBOX failed. The server returned could not parse command.

Expected Results:
just work

MERCURY IS RETROGRADE
