Cannot reproduce. If I change those settings to 1, then I get only a single in the history view (Go->Show History). Please note that you can still get multiple completions items when you type into the location bar since those items do not only include history but also your bookmarks.
If an URL expires after 1 day, shouldn't there be anything after 2 days ?

If you set the URL to expire after 1 day, then there should of course be nothing after 2 days. Are you sure what is showing up after two days is an item in the history or one from the bookmark ? I will try to test this when I have the time.

tested in 4.11 with "Maximum numbers of URL" set to "2" - it won't work in the latest version. I typed in 3 URLs - and all are shown, not only the latest 2.
