Trying to install Skype for Linux OpenSUSE, and attempting to use KPackageKit, because, though I had to install it for the purpose, it's stated to be the default, every time I try to authenticate as Superuser I get part way through my password and it crashes.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

I opened a deb file using kpackagekit, next, it asks for my password to continue installing. When I canceled the password prompt, it crashed.
