Description quentin.denis 2011-04-02 14:43:02 UTC
Version: 2.4.0.90 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

Clementine has found a very convenient way to repopulate the dynamic playlist with its floating box add the bottom of the playlist.
I have requested a similar feature long time ago in Amarok but has never been added. So here I refile my request, either in the form of Clementine or of my initial idea that was to add a link in "Dynamic Mode Enabled" blue banner on top of the playlist that points to the dynamic mode sidebar. It is in fact very annoying to switch from the file browser to the dynamic mode config sidebar and back. I very often use both (dyn mode + manual addition through collection or file browser), a quicker way to repopulate the list would be very nice.

Reproducible: Always

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc

Just tried clementine again. Couldn't find out how to use the dynamic playlist.

Also, I am not really understanding your problem. It shouldn't be common to repopulate the dynamic playlist. The whole idea is that you don't need to worry about adding new songs.

Can you tell me why you need to repopulate the dynamic playlist and how often?
