Description Alin M Elena 2011-03-29 14:15:31 UTC
Version: git-latest
OS: Linux

I have compiled ksecretservice from git and tried to use it to store the secrets for the accounts...

ksecretservice runs, restarted mission-contol
and this is the error I get

(process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: gabble/jabber/alinm_2eelena_40gmail_2ecom1.param-password should be secret
(process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: mcp_account_storage_set: default-gkeyfile:
(process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: mcp_account_storage_commit_one: default-gkeyfile:
** Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files
(process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: mcp_account_storage_commit_one: default-gkeyfile:

I thought it will use kwallet. Doesn't it?
Comment 3 George Goldberg 2011-07-10 10:20:26 UTC
This means that ksecretservice is not working properly, so reassigning to them.
Comment 4 Valentin Rusu 2011-12-04 12:28:49 UTC
Hello,
Meanwhile ksecretsservice daemon moved to kdeutils/ksecrets repository.
Does this bug still reproduce with latest sources?
