Version: git-latest OS: Linux I have compiled ksecretservice from git and tried to use it to store the secrets for the accounts... ksecretservice runs, restarted mission-contol and this is the error I get (process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: gabble/jabber/alinm_2eelena_40gmail_2ecom1.param-password should be secret (process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: mcp_account_storage_set: default-gkeyfile: (process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: mcp_account_storage_commit_one: default-gkeyfile: ** Message: secret service operation failed: The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files (process:6799): mc-plugins-DEBUG: mcp_account_storage_commit_one: default-gkeyfile: Alin Reproducible: Didn't try OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.38-27-desktop Compiler: gcc
I thought it will use kwallet. Doesn't it?
It does not, explanation here: http://community.kde.org/Real-Time_Communication_and_Collaboration/Troubleshooting#My_passwords_aren.27t_being_saved.
This means that ksecretservice is not working properly, so reassigning to them.
