Version:           2.4.0 (using KDE 4.6.1)

It's possible to configure which parts of a song description are displayed in the playlist, which is very nice.  So how about carrying over the same idea to the banner that's displayed as a song is playing?  In other words, the fields that are displayed during the playback should be the same as those that are listed in the playlist entry.

I suppose you mean the On Screen Display, don't you?

I think it's the on-screen display.  It's a moving banner.  I don't always know what things are called.
