Hi. My name is Grayson Peddie and while I'm not that used to filing bug reports (I'm just a bit used to it in Launchpad since I am using Ubuntu), this is my first time reporting a bug here, so please bear with me as I'm trying to do the best I can to tell you what happened before the crash.

- What I was doing when the application crashed: Since I am using KDE Search and Launch, I am trying to open the KDE Menu Editor by right-clicking in the K launcher and click in "Edit Application..." The menu editor won't open and it looked like panel froze but I was able to close the application (rekonq) that I was using.

- Unusual behavior I noticed: When I right-click in the K Launcher and choose to "Edit Application," the top and bottom panel seems to freeze for about less than a minute. I closed the rekonq web browser and the task bar still makes it look like the browser is still running, so I went ahead and poke around the panel in the bottom of the screen (my task bar is at the top since I have an Applecation Menu widget in the bottom panel) and while doing so, after I click a couple of times, the plasma desktop crashed and it has been restarted automatically.

This is strange to me, but after the crash, KDE Menu Editor opened and it is able to respond to my mouse clicks. 

I might try to reproduce the bug again, but I might try to reproduce the bug either tomorrow or Sunday (I'm in Eastern Time Zone). Plus, I don't know what distribution method to specify, but I'm running Kubuntu 10.10 with Kubuntu PPA -- I think it's a backport but I couldn't remember, but I can tell you that I've running KDE 4.6.1 since recently (today). I can try to provide more info about what's going on, but that's all I can give you for now.
