Version: 1.0.80 OS: Linux Please add event "contact gone offline" which is called "offline" to the custom notifications. Thanks. Reproducible: Didn't try OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34.8-68.fc13.i686.PAE Compiler: gcc
accidentally filed as a bug, please change to "wish". Thanks.
Kopete already supports offline custom notification. It also supports regular offline notification. I do not understand what is this whish for.
a contact have custom notifications, but there is no way to customize the contact gone offline notification per contact in the same way it is possible to customize contact gone online notification.
Created attachment 58294 [details] Kopete's custom notifications That is a screenshot of my kopete custom notification window. There is a notification for contact has gone offline.
Created attachment 58296 [details] kopete custom notifications no "offline" event
if it was supposed to be available for this version, then something went wrong.
Created attachment 58297 [details] Kopete's notification configuration file I use the same version (1.0.80). Probably your $KDEDIR/share/apps/kopete/kopete.notifyrc is missing that information. Try using the attached one, you must copy it to that same location ($KDEDIR/share/apps/kopete/kopete.notifyrc). Usually $KDEDIR is /usr or /opt/kde4.
I don't have both locations, using Fedora 13 however I did find the file at /usr/share/kde4/apps/kopete/ the only difference in the events in both files is a translation of IRC event. but it did work, so thanks!
What is your kopete package version? I know that kopete-4.6.1 supports user has gone offline notification. Can I close this bug?
kdenetwork-4.5.5-1.fc13.i686 I don;t know if there was a problem in the package but following your suggestion fixed the problem. I no longer have the problem. Thanks.
Hmm now I remember, I fixed this problem for KDE 4.6.1 last month. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 260892 ***
