Phonon gstreamer is not detecting matroska subtitles at all for me.  The list of subtitles is empty for files that show subtitles just fine in other programs and with other phonon backends.  I tested it both in dragon player and in bangarang.  Video and sound works fine.

test5.mkv is the one you want to use.

Subtitles are implemented in gbac5ca4 for the 4.5 release.
