Version: X-ray(alpha 1) OS: Linux I would like to use gluon, but i can't because my distribution (ubuntu) doesn't have new enough Qt in it's repository. I would like to use gluon with older version of qt. It has been possible to use Gluon previously with older Qt versions and it got changed with the new in-game UI way. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Start gluon_qtplayer without QtQuick installed. Actual Results: Got error message to terminal, which says: " file:///usr/share/gluon/games/invaders.gluon/Assets/Invaders_Interface_Menu_Interface.qml Error loading QML file. 1: module "QtQuick" is not installed" Only the invaders logo appears to window. Expected Results: Start the game.

Actually, this has been the only irrelevant part of Jaakko's report. ( It is an abstract issue, not really PPA, Ubuntu, Debian, etc related ). Also, I guess he knows the usage of PPA and in that if he did not he would not have reported this issue here, but at some upstream place. If I am not mistaken, he is asking that I have been whining about for a while and so many other users complained about, but nobody opened a bugreport yet. All in all, I agree about this report as I have been doing like that for a long time...It might be a bit more work than we would like to sort it out in, but still...changing the priorty!
Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.
This project is unfortunately no longer maintained. If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here: https://invent.kde.org/unmaintained/gluon You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived. Sorry for the inconveniences.
