Description Christopher Yeleighton 2011-03-17 15:50:47 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

Dolphin takes a different action for executable and non-executable shell scripts; accordingly, the icons used and the file type reported in the information window should be different. Currently the operator has no way to figure out what to expect from the default action.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. Select an executable script file in Dolphin.
  2. Tell Dolphin to show the Information panel.

Actual Results:
  2. File type: shell script

Expected Results:
  2. File type: executable shell script

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37.1-1.2-desktop
Compiler: gcc
