Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.3) OS: Linux I am unable to connect to a remote Windows computer's root C$ share with Dolphin. This works fine using smbclient (CLI) app. Remote machine is Windows 7 Professional 32bit, using enabled Administrator account. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: In Dolphin try to connect to a Windows 7 C$ share: smb://administrator@10.10.11.134/c$/ Actual Results: Dolphin prompts for user/pass and never displays files. Running this from command line works fine: $ smbclient \\\\10.10.11.134\\c$ -Uadministrator Expected Results: I expected to be able to connect to that C$ share as if it were any other SMB/CIFS share. OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.37-2-686-bigmem Compiler: cc Thanks for KDE!
Confirmed with KDE Frameworks 5.47.
