Description Kamil Stepinski 2011-03-11 22:49:27 UTC
Version: 1.9.0 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux

Dark or black parts of the image become red tinted when using option "Color Effects - Vivid" in digikam Editor.
This behaviour makes the option unusable for most of the photos I think.

See screenshot here:
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_E8OhfDlNsi0/TXqXChrREGI/AAAAAAAAEMw/aNDOIsAxQqo/s800/digikam1.9-vivid-bug.jpg

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open a photo with dark areas in editor.
Open menu Color, select Color Effects, select type Vivid (default level 5).
Dark parts of the image become reddish.

Actual Results:
Reddish tint in dark parts of the image.

Expected Results:
I expect dark/black parts to become unaltered.
