I went to a folder on a SD connected via USB that contains a large amount of jpegs. I did the following
CTRL-A
CTRL-C
Clicked on Home in Places area
Clicked on a folder in my home dir
Clicked File menu: This is when it crashed


The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

Thanks for the bug report! This issue has been reported already (related to Nepomuk/Soprano, probably fixed in more recent versions). To work around this bug, you can disable Nepomuk in the System Settings.
