Description John Floyd 2011-03-10 08:48:24 UTC
Version: 4.4.10 (using KDE 4.5.5)
OS: Linux

Maybe I am missing something. But I cannot see how to stop the templates over writing the due by date. If the due by date is left non defined in the template - its then declared non-defined after applying a template overwriting the date set on opening the new todo/evant.

A simple copying of all data from the template is inadequate.
This sometimes leads to problems trying to find where the template put the activity!

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
This is probably not a bug but a very annoying 'feature' especially when it overwrites a date and you dont notice till you cant find it on the calendar.

If you do have a date defined in the template, it may be entered numerous monthhs in the past. Maybe if the date is less then the original then keep the original!

This has been 'bugging' me for a long time. I keep all my records in Organizer.
