it is not accettable by users, if you pay attention you will note that there is not print selection ,in some of them, but after that, you will note that the interface is very different from an application to another...

it's not a lack of manpower
it's a lack of organization

you should consider to meet with every open desktop-graphic-developers and speak about a standard print-window ..

it's so sad get applications that are amazing from some point of view and then get something of weird for the printing interfaces...

consider to use a single application to print well developed and shared by every graphic application

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
open a photo\text editor
try to print a document

Actual Results:
if you use application 1 ------> print-window-1
if you use application 2 ------> print-window-2
if you use application 3 ------> print-window-3

Expected Results:
if you use application 1 ------> print-window-1
if you use application 2 ------> print-window-1
if you use application 3 ------> print-window-1

it's not a spare time problem
it's not a lack of manpower

it's a lack of organization

There is already an attempt to create a standard printing dialog, see http://www.linuxfoundation.org/collaborate/workgroups/openprinting/commonprintingdialog

KDE applications use the Qt library to invoke the printing dialog, so you should ask Qt developers to implement support for the OpenPrinting Common Printing Dialog. Please file your request to http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/

As for other two mentioned applications, please report to their bug tracker.
