Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.1) OS: Linux Well, using chromium browser in lastest releases I've been surprised to find a really greath thing in this browser: when a web page is not available (404 error or so on), chromium look at google cake (http://google.com/search?q=cache:WEBSITEHERE) and whow the message: "Would you like to display a older version available for this page" I find this feature very useful, e.g. servers in my school break down but I was still able to easly show my school pages. Others useful "speed dials" for error pages: search the URL with google, Reproducible: Always
Just for you, what about something like this?
Created attachment 70635 [details] rekonq new error page
Exactly what I meant, it is really awesome... Maybe the "reload" link should be more visible, for instance like the old button "reload", but I've no idea how to integrate a button in this layout in a fancy way.
Implemented new error page, available since rekonq 0.9.59. Filippo, thanks for your suggestions!
