The same happens to me. Dragonplayer always crashes on closing, a segmentation fault is reported.

I am using version 2.0 on KDE 4.6.5 installed through Debian repositories. This bug has been happening since older (..., 4.4.x, 4.5.x) KDE versions.

Hello,
It will be helpful for us if you provide further information regarding the type of media that was being played. Was it on your HDD or external device like a DVD ?
Please help by adding this information.
Regards,

The problem was with the Phonon-backend-vlc, this is now solved since version 0.3.2 of that backend. Please upgrade your KDE.
