Description Darin McBride 2011-03-07 17:12:20 UTC
Version: latest svn snapshot (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

For one account, it'd be nice that when I start typing a tweet, that Choqok would automatically add hash tags specified in the account (which, of course, means adding the ability to associate default hash tags with accounts). Since the purpose of that account is as a visible front to a group's activities, it'd be nice if I could tell Choqok what hash tags are normally associated with posts, which would allow Choqok to remind me what hash tags I should be using :-)

For example, a local weatherman would normally put the hash tag for the locality (the airport code). Being able to configure that hash tag as automatic would be helpful.

The idea I'm thinking of is that when I first put something into the text box, the hash tags, if any, for the current account would be appended, but not selected (i.e., would not get overwritten by continued typing). The caret (cursor) would not be moved, so I'd continue typing at the end of what I started typing, but before the hash tags, since it seems like hash tags usually go at the end if they aren't actually words in the text proper. This still allows the user to select/delete the tags if they don't apply to the current tweet/update.

This is all about me having a phenominally bad memory :-)

Reproducible: Always

Thank you for the bug report.

As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists.

If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved.

Choqok is unfortunately no longer maintained.

If a new maintainer wants to step up and take care, the project is archived here:

https://invent.kde.org/network/choqok

You can just clone it in your private namespace on invent.kde.org and if you have started to work on it and fixed/implemented something get it reviewed and the project unarchived.

Sorry for the inconveniences.
