Description Damien Buhl 2011-03-07 14:18:12 UTC
Version: 0.9 (using KDE 4.6.1)
OS: Linux

Since the last update I got from Korganizer, I can't add new event; todos or journal to my calendar.

I use a /home/daminetreg/.kde/share/apps/korganizer/std.ics file as calendar (which is updated each 3minutes by gcaldaemon).

It doesn't work in any calendar, even in new ones that I can create.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Simply add a new event, give a title and click apply or ok (nothing happens or a message asking continue, I don't have this message anymore because I've clicked on "don't show this message anymore" in the hope it would perform the ok action)

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.35-27-generic
Compiler: cc

Other bug reports about this were because the user didn't have any calendar checked, in the resource view.

Check if that's your case, reopen with more information if not.

Hi Sergio,

Thanks for this information, but this is not my case, I cannot use Korganizer if I open it normally with the standard calendar or any other calendar added through the resource view. If I want to be able to edit a calendar I have to open it through the File > Open menu.

I made a small wrapper for korganizer on the PATH to open my calendar by default, which contains the simple following line:
/usr/bin/korganizer -o /home/daminetreg/.kde/share/apps/korganizer/std.ics

I can create any new calendar through the resource view and as soon as I close Korganizer and reopen it I can't modify them anymore.

Cheers :)
