On a brand new virgin install of Kubuntu, kwin crashed when I tried to change the Window Decorations from Oxygen to Plastik.  A previous bug report said a similar incident was closed because the crash wasn't caused by KDE, but it didn't mention that another bug report was opened.  To the user, it doesn't matter what caused the crash, and whatever the cause, it should be fixed.
