Version:           1.0.80 (using KDE 4.6.0) 
OS:                Linux

The kopete icon does not appear in system tray when the application is run. The bug appeared after moving from Debian unstable to Ubuntu 11.04.
"Show message in a popup" setting for incoming messages works as expected.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
