Kate hangs for a long time (30 seconds on my 1 year old machine) with 100% CPU use(one the core).
Eventually it loads and then it's unresponsive - 3 seconds to handle one scroll command.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
download and open
http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.5.1.min.js

Actual Results:  
Very slow loading and then unresponsive

Expected Results:  
fast Kate :-)

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-27-generic

qt bug that is still not fixed upstream - nothing we can do about
