Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5) OS: Linux No Debian 6.0 I find the Workspace style is not saved. This is presented as incorrect colouring of the bottom bar, making widgets unreadable. The required style is one automatically selected on installation. Solution is to go to System Settings->Style->Workspace, where the correct style is already highlighted. Select a different style, and click on Apply, then select the correct style, and click on Apply. This has to be done after every desktop login. I also have this problem on SUSE 11.3 (KDE 4.4.4) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Reboot, or re-log in. Actual Results: Incorrect Workspace style displayed. Expected Results: Correct Workspace style displayed. I have this problem on 1 Debian 6.0 install, and 1 install without the problem. I also have 3 SUSE 11.3 installs with the problem, and 2 without
As far as I know this has long been fixed, but Plasma maintainers know better.
closing because the reported kde version (4.4.4) is quite old compared to 4.6.1 where i can't reproduce the problem.
