Image as seen on digikam image browser

Version: 1.8.0 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

I'm attaching two images that better explain my issue. It's been like that since digikam 1.7.0 and always happen with images that have high white areas.

Reproducible: Always

Sound like over-exposure indicator is enabled. Turning off this must solve your problem

Confirmed, same problem here. This is shown in areas of over exposure, eg color is 0xffffff.

Same problem than #274631
