Description Robin Green 2011-02-27 15:41:52 UTC
Version: 1.13.6 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

If you print an HTML email, whitespace is inserted randomly in the middle of some words. This happens even if you print to a PDF file, as opposed to a real printer. Unfortunately I can't provide the example I used because it's confidential.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a HTML email
2. Choose to enable the display of HTML, and then the display of images, if asked
3. Print

Actual Results:
Spaces appear in the middle of some words

Expected Results:
No extraneous spaces

I'm really surprised that I couldn't find a duplicate of this bug, since I first experienced it almost ten years ago.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
