Description John Layt 2011-02-27 12:12:52 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

KMail 1 filter export uses the folder names for the action destination but KMail 2 uses the collection ID. Importing KMail 1 filter files into KMail 2 shows the destination folder as not found and so doesn't work. The import should convert the folder names into collection ID's.

Reproducible: Didn't try

It's even worse since not only are the target folders "unknown" but the messages are moved anyway e.g. away from an imap account into the local inbox when the filter should actually move them to a local folder which does not exist.

Can confirm here - Mandriva Linux Cooker - on a Pentium 4 machine ( x86-32 ) with kdepim4-4.6.0-2.src.rpm . This is a very serious bug that should be fixed!
