Description Todd 2011-02-24 18:22:04 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

You can make orbital simulations in step by creating two bodies with mass and setting their distance and velocity. Currently, however, you can only run step up to 16x speed. This is fine when simulating, for instance, something small like a pendulum.

But if you want to use step to show orbital dynamics, for instance a model of our solar system, 16x is way too slow. For that sort of thing, it would great if users could specify an arbitrary speed.

Reproducible: Always
