The dialog box exceeds the maximum height that can be displayed in most netbooks (approximately 580 pixels).

Please can you take a screenshot to see where space is too important ?

Removed FB username for security purposes. Do note that the bug exists regardless of whether or not the user is logged in.

So you mean the dialog is too big, not too small? The screenshot looks different than on a UNIX machine, mine looks like this:

Oh, yes - my mistake. Title should be fixed now.

Andi, Fran is talking about the import tool, not the export tool. The import tool is vertically quite large and only horizontally realizable. Here's a screenshot from Windows 7:

For that matter, the export tool also can't be vertically resized.

Okay, taking over. Will be looking into it ASAP. ;)

still valid. tried with 2.8.0 on linux (from ppa). vertical range out of screen and asking full screen doesn't help. need to move window (alt+mouse) to get bottom of window.
For an unknow reason, the import from picasa is resizeable with default size fit in netbook and could be expanded in full screen. minimal size in both width and length are lower than netbook screen.

With the port to Qt5 of digiKam , this problem is now fixed under Windows.

New 5.0.0 beta installer is available for testing at this url :
