Version: 4.6 beta2 (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux After setting up 5 different Ical-Calendars as a calendar resource in Korganizer, Korganizer gets _very_ slow and unresponsive. All the .ics-files are approx 2-3 Mb in size. One is r/w the others are readonly. Maybe it's due to Akonadi now "sitting in the middle" or the Ical backend of Akonadi. Dunno, but with "old" Korganizer/Kontact those Ical files were no problem at all. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: import several ics-files with 500+ calendar entries (through Akonadi) into Korganizer. Actual Results: Korganizer gets slow and unresponsive. You can virtually watch each calendar entry appear in the Calendar view (only "month view" available atm). If it's some 2000+ entries it takes "forever". Pressing "new event" gives a delay of about 5-10 seconds until the dialog appears. Expected Results: Akonadi/Korganizer should be more responsive. Calendars with more than 50 entries are not unusual. OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.37-20-desktop Compiler: gcc
Go to korganizer's settings, and unset the holiday region. Choose "Noone" Then try again.
"None" was already set. Tried to change it to "Germany", holidays appeared after a lag of approx. 10 seconds Then changed it back to "none", again after some 10 seconds delay, the holidays disappeared again. But no improvement. btw. choosing "forward"/"back" in the month view, also gives the same delay, until the view gets refreshed with the next/previous month. Am Donnerstag, 17.
