Comment 5 Miguel 2011-03-16 20:39:21 UTC
same for me! Ubuntu 10.10 with Backports

Amarok 2.4
KDE 4.6.1
Ipod classic

It is a real pity, and I have no clue where the error lies..
Comment 6 Myriam Schweingruber 2011-03-19 12:00:20 UTC
The problem is due to the current transition from HAL to Udev in Kubuntu 10.0 and KDE 4.6.x, not much we can do about, sorry.
Comment 7 Miguel 2011-03-19 15:17:53 UTC
so is it really solved? and where do we have to report then?

I didn't say it was solved, it hopefully should be resolved in the next Kubuntu 11.04 version though.

Ok then. It just seemed to me that the bug changed to resolved, my bad.
Thanks

with the release 2.4.1, amarok recognizes my ipod as ipod and not anymore as empty usb storage :-)
