using    gdb
there no errors on start up but as soon as i change the config ie accounts
i  get  the  following
http://pastebin.com/vPALapTW

( list  is  long  )
summary the kmail library doesnt offer init _kcm _kmail or qt_plugin_instance
there was no stack to backtrace

If you want to run kmail in gdb, you have to use --nofork

eg:

gdb --args kmail --nofork
