Version: 4.6 pre (using Devel) OS: Linux When I try to access my notes from within Kontact for the first time after start of Kontact, the application complains about "Notes wurde bereits migriert" (Notes has already been migrated). After some secondes, the application is started and I can continue working. The same happens, when starting knotes standalone. Here's the console output: marcusschneider@glorfindel:/usr/local/Jaikoz> knotes QSystemTrayIcon::setVisible: No Icon set knotes(29591)/kdecore (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from "/var/tmp/kdecache-marcusschneider/ksycoca4" kres-migrator(29593)/kdecore (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from "/var/tmp/kdecache-marcusschneider/ksycoca4" unnamed app(29595) main: Migrator instance already running for type "notes" knotes(29590): Communication problem with "knotes" , it probably crashed. This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
