Description Fest 2011-02-14 12:41:39 UTC
Version: 2.0.89 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

I set filters to check address and copy message to folder. (@facebookmail.com -> to notification folder, for example)
I want that kmail mark original mail as read, and leave only copied message as unread.

Unfortunately setting filters as:
*Copy into folder
*Mark as Read.
Resulting in conflict. Message copied to folder but marked as unread.
Also popup is shown with error message:

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Set filters to:
*Copy into folder
*Mark as Read.

Actual Results:
Error mesage and original mesage marked as unread.

Expected Results:
Original mesage marked as read.

stil valid ?

KDE 4.74 worked OK.

KDE 4.8.3 shows the same behaviour. Furthermore "Mark as Read" alone (no other action) does not mark the message anymore. The filter is activated since I have configured playing a sound when filter is matched.

I second this behavior on 4.8.3...

Fixed in 4.8.4
