Description Daniel Hahler 2011-02-14 00:39:59 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

I am using the desert256 color scheme [1] in Vim, and when I select multiple lines in a Konsole window running Vim, all the whitespace up to the right terminal border get selected, too.

This makes it quite annoying to paste somewhere else.

This does not happen when using gnome-terminal, or another color scheme (e.g. "desert" for Vim), so it is likely related to how Konsole detects end-of-lines.

I've noticed something similar before: when using screen and vim remotely, this happened for the current line before, i.e. when marking/copying lines around the currently selected line in Vim, only the whitespace at the end of the current line was added. This feels quite related, but I had not tracked this down further.

Reproducible: Always

I can't reproduce this. Maybe related with the colorscheme used by konsole itself?

I really can't reproduce this in konsole-2.7.999. Feel free to reopen if it still happens in konsole-2.7.999.
