Version: 1.8.0 (using KDE 4.5.5) OS: Linux Digikam needs to replace dot pipette by an area (size selectable) one to take several dots into account. Whithout this, working on noisy images is nearly impossible as each dot is far from mean color. As a consequence, image becomes very red/green/blue according to the dot you clicked on. In the same time, adding a similar pipette to raw developer's white balance would be very great ! Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Needed in particular for noisy images

Git commit 52510a80dc884714e34ddb45f9782374dc1a5351 by Gilles Caulier. Committed on 25/01/2026 at 17:41. Pushed by cgilles into branch 'master'. Improve White Balance pipette used with pick color tool to preset the Temperature and Green settings. The pipette report in live the color value, the color rendering to a square, and the pixel position inside tooltip over the histogram. The tool settings Temperature and Green computed using the color from the pipette are updated in live. If the user uncheck the pick color tool button without to chosse a pixel color from the image, the previous white balance settings is restored.
