Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1) OS: Linux In KMail if I reply to a message where the attachment is ahead of the text (for whatever reason) then no quoted text appears. More, specifically, if the attachment is embedded within the text then then no text after the attachment is quoted. This does not occur when the attachment is behind the text or there is no attachment present (in both cases reply quotes the text as expected). It seems that this mostly affects email sent from the OSX mail program as that allows one to "place" attachments at arbitrary points in the email. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Have some one send an email with an attachment with text after the attachment (I believe this can only be done with certain mail programs such as the default OSX program). I am using default settings for KMail.
I can confirm this behaviour for KDE 4.6.1 (KMail 1.13.6) The mail body ist sturctured like this: --Apple-Mail-15--989122891 Content-Disposition: inline; filename=Zertifikatsdings.png Content-Type: image/png; x-unix-mode=0644; name="filename.png" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 (BASE64 encoded image data follows) --Apple-Mail-15--989122891 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Mail body text. --Apple-Mail-15--989122891--
Can you save the concerned mail and attach it to this bug report please ? (mbox format is fine, make sure you remove any personal information)
(In reply to comment #2) > Can you save the concerned mail and attach it to this bug report please ? (mbox > format is fine, make sure you remove any personal information) Sorry I missed this. I upgraded to KDE 4.6.2 (Kmail version 1.13.6) and it seems to be fixed (so I can't send a an example).
So if it's fixed I closed it
