Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS: Linux This is a bit harder to reproduce. Currently i'm using kde 4.6.0 and klipper 0.9.7, but I think the problem has been there for a long time Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: -Enable option: 'syncronise contents of the clipboard and selection' -Open a webpage with chromium or firefox. -Press control-l. This changes focus to the url-field and selects the url. -(Notice how klipper does pick this up) -Press control-C to copy the link Actual Results: -Klipper hangs for a number of seconds -Sometimes keyboard and mouse inputs do not respond. However: applications keep on running and screenupdates go on. -No strange CPU usage found with top. -After a few seconds klipper continues and everything is normal again. Expected Results: -Copy the selected text to the clipboard.

I can confirm the problem. Every time, after having selected "Copy link address" from an HTTP link (e.g. in akregator or kmail), klipper stalls for a while freezing the GUI but at the end the interface becomes again responsive. This happens with clipboard actions enabled. Qt: 4.6.3 KDE Development Platform: 4.5.5 (KDE 4.5.5) Klipper: v0.9.7
