CPU usage after this bug. I have a 4 cores.

Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.6.0)
OS: Linux

If i will leave computer with logged in kopete for about hour and some one will write to me, tray icon will change to a animated one. And then i will have a high cpu usage by xorg even if icon is changed back to normal.

The main problem? that it's not kopete using cpu but xorg. And to get everything buck to normal state i have to relogin.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Logged in to icq or jabber.
Receive a massage, but don't open it.
Wait.
Done.

Actual Results:
Xorg using about 100% of one core.

Expected Results:
Xorg don't use 100% of one core

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop
Compiler: gcc
Comment 1 Vovochka 2011-02-03 06:08:30 UTC
Actual version of my kopete is 1.0.80
But it can't be selected in bugtracker.

Similar behaviour on kde 4.6.1 on Linux x86_64 2.6.38 and kopete 1.0.80. Luckily it's sometime fixable by stoping systray icon animation ( show all events).
Comment 3 zbynek.jun 2011-04-13 21:27:37 UTC
Same problem on kde 4.6.2, kernel 2.6.38.2, X.Org 1.9.4 and stock intel kernel driver
Comment 4 Damien Gombault 2011-04-18 16:36:09 UTC
Same problem here on Kubuntu Maverick with KDE 4.6.2 (from Kubuntu backports), kernel 2.6.35-28-generic and 2.15.0 Intel drivers.
