Description tm 2011-02-01 22:17:37 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.3)
OS: Linux

I'm forwarding two messages as attachements in one encrypted message from thunderbird or evolution mail clients to myself. Kmail can decrypt it but can't verify the signature. In evolution and thunderbird I have no problem with that.

Also the same encrypted message (2 messages forwarded as attachments) sent from Kmail is properly verified by Kmail but not by the other clients. I'm using PGP/Mime format.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Mark two messages, forward as attachments with encryption and sign from kmail. Then try to verify it in other clients.
2. Mark two messages, forward as attachments with encryption and sign from thunderbird/evolution. Then try to verify it in kmail.

Actual Results:
Can't verify signature.

Expected Results:
Valid signature information.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
