Description Chuck Graf 2011-02-01 01:33:54 UTC
Application: dolphin (1.4)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-28-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
Dolphin will connect to and navagate a Microsoft Windows network share, but when I make a shortcut in the "Places" field and click it, Dolphin crashes. This happens every time. Editing the destination field of the shortcut does not fix this. The problem only occurs when I use an icon in the "Places" field of the GUI. If I use a location listed to the right of the "Places" field the share opens with no crash.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

 -- Backtrace:
Application: Dolphin (dolphin), signal: Segmentation fault

Thanks for the bug report! I think that this is fixed in KDE 4.5 and later (at least, we did not get many new reports about this crash recently).
