Version: 2.0.0 (using KDE 4.5.5) OS: Linux With latest svn, I scanned a small album, detected some faces, manually tagged them, then scanned again using "Clear results and rescan", but the tagged faces were still there. Reproducible: Always
Only unconfirmed results will be cleared - we will only touch machine generated information, not user confirmed data. So this bug is mostly due to wording that leads to misunderstanding?
Yeah I guess so. But how can the user tell which data is confirmed or not (except by remembering) ?
Unconfirmed faces will have the Confirm/Reject buttons. Confirmed faces will not. We need to offer the possibility to group by confirmed/unconfirmed, but that will become acute only when recognition works well.
Please can we at least improve the clarity of the wording? "Clear results and rescan" confused me and it will almost certainly confuse other users, so I don't think it's sufficient to just resolve as WORKSFORME. Thanks.
Suggestions are welcome, especially if you are a native speaker
"clear unconfirmed results"
or even "clear unconfirmed results and rescan"
